BASIC DOCUMENT LIST

  1. Schengen visa application form.

    • The application form must be filled out online at https://visa.vrm.lt/epm , printed, and each page must be signed and stapled.

  2. Passport and photocopy (photocopy of the page containing the person's information and Schengen visas obtained in the last 3 years):

    • The validity period must be at least three months longer than the validity period of the requested visa.

    • It must have at least two blank pages.

    • It must have been issued within the last 10 years at most.

  3. Two color photographs:

    • Current (taken within the last six months), 3.5x4.5 cm, printed on photographic paper.

    • The face should cover 70-80% of the photo area, from chin to top of head the face should be 31-36mm.

    • It should have a white and monochrome background.

    • The person in the photo should not be wearing glasses.

    • No lighting effects should be used in the photo.

    • Glasses should not cover the eyes completely.

    • The mouth must be completely closed in the photo.

  4. Travel Health Insurance policy:

    • The insurance must cover any expenses that may arise during the stay in the Republic of Lithuania, such as repatriation for medical reasons, urgent medical attention and/or emergency hospital treatment or death.

    • The insurance must be valid in member countries and cover the entire duration of stay.

    • The minimum deposit must be EUR 30,000.

    • NOTE: The 92-day clause in some policies does not pose any problems in visa applications.

  5. Documentation of flight/travel reservations or other form of travel.

    • A valid flight reservation that includes outbound and return travel times and includes a reservation code (information on the means of transportation to be used if transiting to different countries).

  6. The visa application fee is 80 Euros.

  7. A fully documented copy of the civil registration record.

  8. Documents proving regular income:

    • If the applicant will cover his/her own expenses, the original signed and stamped bank statement or statement showing the last 3 months of transactions and having sufficient balance (40 Euros per day of stay in Lithuania).

    • Social Security Institution payslip (signed, stamped and barcoded).

    • Pension certificate (if any).

  9. Document regarding accommodation, hotel reservation covering the duration of the trip, including the name and surname of the person staying, reservation code and hotel information (for trips to different countries, hotel reservations for the countries to be visited).
